Course Overview Every great story begins with a hero, a challenge, and a journey filled with obstacles and transformation. In this adventure writing course designed for Grades 4–5, students will explore the classic structure of The Hero’s Journey—a timeless storytelling framework used in myths, fantasy novels, and blockbuster movies. Young writers will learn how to plan and write their own original adventure stories by following each stage of the hero’s path: from the “Call to Adventure” to the “Return Home.” Along the way, they’ll build strong writing skills, vivid description, and narrative confidence.
