A double Harvard graduate and AI practitioner, Andrew specializes in teaching programming, data science, and machine learning.
Former Harvard teaching fellow in Statistics and Machine Learning, with real-world experience in model design and deployment.
He uses practical examples to make abstract algorithms click—helping students master AI from the ground up.

About Me

Andrew is a double Harvard graduate (BA + Master’s) and senior data scientist with deep expertise in math, computer science, statistics, machine learning, and AI. He has spent three years as a full-time private tutor, guiding students through high school and college courses in math, computer science, and statistics, as well as SAT/ACT prep. He has served as a Harvard teaching fellow in Statistics and Machine Learning and worked in the health technology sector as a data scientist, developing software and designing machine learning models. Andrew's teaching style is warm and patient, with a "no silly questions" philosophy. He tailors instruction to each learner, using real-world examples to make abstract ideas click and creating “aha” moments for students of all levels.

Code & Create: Python Game Lab

This is a project-based programming course designed for middle and high school students. Guided by Andrew Kim—a double Harvard graduate and experienced data scientist—students will learn real-world Python coding through building their own interactive games. From mad-libs and quizzes to a monster rescue simulation, students gain hands-on experience with loops, conditionals, functions, lists, and more. By the end of the course, each student will present a fully functional Python game they designed and coded from scratch.
